Robots are large

Yes and no. ARX systems are tailor-made to fit each individual pharmacy. Some pharmacies, such as those in some hospitals, require very large systems however many of our systems have been installed into very small pharmacies allowing them to maximise the use of their available space.

You have to lose staff to justify the system

Absolutely not. Although some pharmacies use staff savings to justify the investment, this is rarely the case. Automating most of the time-consuming jobs allows valuable staff to be used elsewhere. Hospital pharmacies use this as an opportunity to improve their medicine management by getting pharmacists back to the wards while some retail pharmacies open additional services to their community. This way, patient and customer care is improved.

Robots are expensive

Robots are a large investment. We aim to demonstrate a return of investment of well under 3 years. Alternatively, a large group of our customers lease the equipment. When leasing, the savings made through automation outway the monthly cost of the equipment.
